This is where you can customise your subscription to best suit your business needs.
Assets
Asset Renewal Types
Renewal Types define the different Renewals you can have against an Asset. Before you can create Renewal Records, you must create it in your System Settings.
TIP
Example Renewal Types:
- Registration
- Insurance
- First Aid
- Fire Extinguishers
- Certificate of Inspection
Asset Body Types
Asset Body Types are a way to define what sort of Assets you have. Before you can assign a Body Type to an Asset, you must create it in your System Settings.
TIP
Example Body Types:
- Vehicle
- Truck
- Excavator
- Forklift
- Trailer
Fuel Card Providers
If you use Fuel Cards for your fleet, you can specify the Provider and Card Number for each Asset. Before you can add a Fuel Card Provider against an Asset, you must create it in your System Settings.

- Flybuys
- Caltex
Telematics Providers
If you use Telematics for your fleet, you can specify a the Provider and Card Number for each Asset. Before you can add a Telematics Provider against an Asset, you must create it in your System Settings.

- MiX Telematics
Asset Ownership Types
You have the option to record the business's ownership against each Asset. Before you can add an Ownership Type to an Asset, you must create it in your System Settings.
TIP
Example Vehicle Ownership Types:
- Financed
- Leased
- Owned
Registration States
Registration States can be defined against an Asset. All Australian States are added to your System Settings as default.
General
Branches
Branches in TMFleet are another way to define different Departments, Divisions, Sites etc. in your business.
Your Employees will be assigned to the Branch that they are employed or contracted at.
Before you can add an Ownership Type to an Asset, you must create it in your System Settings.
Invoices
Invoice GL Codes
When an invoice is received, you can record it in TranzMate (via the Invoices page), and the GL code is used to categorise the transaction and record it.
Pre-Starts
Prestart Settings
TMFleet allows Administrators to custommise the Faield Result Message for Pre-Start failures. This will be an additional message displayed on the screen.
Prestart Templates
You can create Pre-Start Templates to be assigned to Assets for operators to complete.
Pre-Start Template Assignment
Once you have created Pre-Start Templates, you can assign one or multiple to Assets. If assigning multiple, Operators can choose which one to perform.
Servicing
Service Types
Administrators can customise the names and types of Services that Assets require.
Default Service Types include:
- Scheduled (Minor) - Is Schedulable
- Scheduled (Major) - Is Schedulable
- Breakdown - Is not Schedulable
- Repairs - Is not Schedulable
- Other - Is not Schedulable
A Schedulable Service means that you will be prompted to specify a due date and due odometer reading for a Service you are booking, and its future Service once completed.
Tickets
Ticket Statuses
Ticket Statuses are customisable. You can give them any Name and one of the pre-set meanings of either Open or Closed.
Tickets that have a status of Open will be shaded in red to ensure you don't miss them. Tickets with a status of Closed will no longer need further attention.
